Jesus Interrupted (The Gospel of Mark)

Jesus Interrupted (The Gospel of Mark)

Did you have a “to-do list” this week? How much of it actually got done? I think my list is actually longer now than when the week began! We have so many distractions and interruptions that come up it is sometimes hard to have a sense of accomplishment or feel like we are moving forward. But what if the distractions and the interruptions are actually not so bad? In Mark 5, Jesus is interrupted by several people making requests of His time. We are going to see how He determines what He says yes to and what He does with these interruptions. Jesus was clear about what His purpose and His mission was. His goal each day was to follow His Heavenly Father and lead people towards the Kingdom of God. When we have clarity about our purpose we can go to sleep at night satisfied knowing we have done what God has called us to do regardless of what any list says. Join us as we learn how to deal with distractions and interruptions by finding our purpose in God!
