What Can I Expect On a Sunday Morning?
You can expect to find a group of warm and welcoming people ready to engage with one another and with God. The worship music style is contemporary, and the preaching is Bible-based, engaging and practical. Each worship service is about an hour and a half long and is followed by a time of coffee and refreshments on the church patio.
What Do the Kids Do?
Families are invited to come to church together and bring their kids! We begin the service altogether in the sanctuary. We start with a welcome, some songs of worship and prayer and then we invite the children (pre-school through 5th grade) to come up front, and we pray blessings over them. Then the kids go to their Sunday School classes, and the adults and teens stay in the sanctuary as one of the pastors’ shares a message based on the Bible. We have infant and nursery care available during the worship service. For more information about our children’s programs click here.
What Should I Wear to Church?
Come as you are and wear whatever clothes you are comfortable in. There are no dress codes or expectations, just be yourself!
How Often Is Communion Served?
On the first Sunday of every month, we take communion together to remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and unite together. Communion is open to all those who are believers in Jesus Christ (regardless of church or denominational background).
What’s the Best Way to Get to Know the Church?
Sunday morning worship is probably the best entry point and introduction to Almaden Neighborhood Church, but it is just one of the many ways that we connect with each other and with God. Please check out one of the community groups, Bible studies or service opportunities to engage and grow with us together. To find out more about our church history and what we believe, click here. We would love to meet you! You matter to God, and you matter to us.
