Worth It. We conclude our series called “Resilient: Cultivating a Life that Bounces Back.” Sometimes the thing that prohibits us from bouncing back is that we don’t want to. We hit the floor, and we don’t want to get up. We don’t want to muster all of our energy to stand up if we are only going to get knocked down again. An up-and-down life feels pointless. The key to resiliency is the purpose. If we know that there is a purpose to our lives and that something is gained by moving forward, then we can have a drive that doesn’t quit. But is there a purpose big enough to keep us going past the toughest times? Is there something worth getting off the floor? I believe there is. We’ll learn how to “Press On” by looking at Paul’s words in Philippians chapter 3. ~Pastor Jordan Wong
We believe that God has called us to reach out to the people of our community, especially the children and the youth. We plan to build a new 4,700 square foot Neighborhood Center on our existing 4-acre property. Please pray, give, and partner with us.
