If you are out walking in the woods and the path divides, you have to make a choice of which path to take. If both paths will take you in the direction that you ultimately want to go, then how do you decide which path to take? For most of us, we will take the path that looks the easiest. The path that does not have rocks or branches in the way. The path that doesn’t have steep inclines or difficult valleys.
In life, many of us make our choices the same way. We choose the pathways and directions that are most familiar and that seem the least difficult. However, the truth is that these paths don’t always take us in the direction that we really want to go. Instead, if we really want to follow God and join Him on the path that is rewarding, then we know that the path might not always be easy or well traveled. Sometimes, we need to clear the path! We have to make choices to remove the obstacles in our way and follow Christ on the journey. What are some things that you need to remove from the path in order to follow Him?
We believe that God has called us to reach out to the people of our community especially the children and the youth. Our plan is to build a new 4,700 square foot Youth and Children’s Building on our existing 4-acre property. The new building will include a youth room, three children’s classrooms, a large fellowship hall, a kitchen and bathrooms. Please pray, give, and help as you are led.
