“Humilitas”

We continue our series through the book of Philippians (Philippians 2:1-18). In this passage, Paul talks about the value of humility and lowering ourselves to lift others up. This concept can sound very unattractive and even dangerous when we think about it from our own perspective. However, we will discover the example of Christ who had an accurate view of himself and used His position for the benefit of others. When we know that we are safe and secure, it gives us the freedom to leverage what we have without fear of losing it. We’ll explore the meaning of “Humilitas” and emerge with a greater sense of our identity and what to do with it.
