“Cave Prayers”

Sometimes it feels like the whole world is falling apart and we just want to run away from everything and hide.  In the Bible, David’s life was being threatened by King Saul, so David literally ran and hid in a cave (1 Samuel 22-24).  During that time in the cave, David called out to God as his refuge and prayed honest prayers that are still powerful to us today (including Psalm 57 and 142).  What do you do with your cave time?  Do you sulk, ignore your problems or plot to change things?  Or do you call on God and find your strength in Him?  Join us this Sunday as we examine this time in David’s life and learn how “Cave Prayers” can change us.
