“In the Name”

We focus a lot on what we need to do each day and what we need to get done. But it also matters how we do the things that we do. Scripture tells us that “whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him” (Colossians 3:17). What we do becomes infinitely better when we do it in partnership with Jesus. If what we are doing is something that Jesus cannot bless and join us in then that means that gives us the hint that we shouldn’t do it as well! Every day we have the opportunity to abide in Christ and join him in what He is doing in the world. We may not be certain on the “what” but we can commit to the “how”. Join us this Sunday as we explore the “how” and learn how to do all things “In the Name” as we study Colossians 3:12-4:1
