“Love In Action”

At ANC, we “Love God, Love Others and Make Disciples”. This means that “loving one another” is literally our middle name!  We know that we are called to love, but what does that look like practically?  Thankfully the Bible helps us answer that question with dozens of stories that show what love is and plenty of teaching by Jesus and the apostles on how to love one another.  Biblical love is not a feeling but it is an action taken for the benefit of others.

 This Sunday, you’ll hear a message based on John 13:34-35 where Jesus says, “as I have loved you, so must you love one another”.  This is no easy task.  However, when we think of how deeply and powerfully Christ has loved us, it gives us motivation to love others in the same way.  Join in this Sunday as we explore what it means to love one another as we have been loved.
