The Image of the Invisible
As believers in Jesus Christ, we desire to live in this physical world while following the Spirit of God. Sometimes, it can be difficult to know what to do and it would seem easier if God would just show up in the flesh and tell us what to do or, better yet, get into the action Himself. Well, He did. God entered into our world through His Son, Jesus Christ. Jesus became the “Image of the Invisible”, bringing a seemingly intangible God into our tangible reality in an unmistakable way. This Sunday, we’ll explore what it means for us to be human beings who are both physical and spiritual and how Jesus Christ holds us together. We’ll be continuing our series through the book of Colossians in Colossians 1:15-23
