John 19:16-42

Jesus carried the instrument of His own death and suffered a brutal fate by asphyxiation on the cross. Knowing the torture he would endure, Jesus knowingly surrendered HIs life for us! He died on the cross for our sins! He chose to surrender HIs power, His strength, His privilege to serve and save us! He took our place. What does it look like for us to take His place in this world? To bear our cross and love and serve the way Jesus calls us to?
