On Sunday, March 22nd, , we are inviting the families of the children who attend our Kid’s Club after school programs at Williams and Graystone Elementary Schools to join us for worship!  Come and hear all about the Kid’s Club program and listen as the kids share a song with us.  We will be having a BBQ lunch for everyone beginning at 11:45 am.

Almaden Neighborhood Church is partnering with City Team Ministries and Second Harvest Food Bank to provide food for food-insecure families in San Jose. Twice a month, we take a team to a local apartment complex to provide boxes of produce to families in need. On Friday, March 29th, we will be remembering the death and sacrifice of Jesus Christ through a communion and Tenebrae service.  “Tenebrae” means “deepening shadows” in Latin and it is a somber service designed to remind us of the power and significance of Christ’s death.  We will be meditating on the seven final sayings of Jesus as we enter into the emotions of the cross and look forward to celebrating the resurrection and life that is found in Easter.

Join us as we celebrate the risen Savior together!  This is a great Sunday to invite friends and family to come and encounter Jesus with you.  The worship service will include lively worship and a special message focusing on redemption and a new life.  Don’t miss it!

Sunday, May 10th is Mother’s Day and we will be celebrating all of the women in our community during our worship service.  We will have breakfast from 9 – 9:50am, that everyone can enjoy before the service begins.
