“Christmas Presence”
It’s December and it’s beginning to feel like Christmas! Christmas trees and lights are being put up. Presents are being bought and plans for gatherings are being made. But the real reason to be excited is to celebrate the presence of Jesus. Christmas is our reminder that God came to be with us in the form of His Son Jesus and He remains present with us through the Holy Spirit. Holidays come and go, but Christ remains. Gifts under the tree get unwrapped and fade away, but the presence of Jesus remains constant in our lives and into eternity. This Sunday we will be looking at John 1:14 and Matthew 1:18-25 as we understand the importance of Jesus being God with us and the truth of “Christmas Presence.”
