“Coming Home”

It often feels that we are always on the run. We rush from one activity to the other. We are always moving and barely have enough time to think. However, if we are honest with ourselves we might find that this constant motion is intentional. Many of us are not just running because we are busy. We are running to stay busy. We are running to avoid our past and our present.

God gives us the opportunity to stop running away and instead run home to Him. This Sunday, we’ll continue in the book of Genesis with story of Jacob who has lived as a deceiver and one who runs from His problems. What happens when he finally stops running? We’ll discover together as we look at Genesis 33 and 35.

This Sunday, we’ll also hear testimony from Bill Ayres on how God has been working powerfully in his life through very difficult circumstances. Come be encouraged by what the Lord does when we surrender to Him.
