“Not Your Dream"

Most of us have dreams. Some are the dreams we have while we sleep, but we also have dreams when we are awake. We dream of what life could be like for ourselves or others. We dream of the things we hope for, imagine, and long to see become reality. How do we know when a dream is a dream from our own mind or if it is from God? What do we do with our dreams?

This Sunday, we’ll be continuing our series through Genesis in chapter 37 as we look at the beginning of Joseph’s story and his dreams. We’ll discover what this story reveals about recognizing God’s voice, surrendering our dreams to Him, and trusting Him when we can’t yet see how He will bring them about.

We’ll also celebrate communion together as we recognize how Jesus Christ reached into our current reality to make a way for us to experience true life with God. I look forward to worshipping with all of you!
