“Live in the Light”

Last Sunday we talked about the transformative power of Jesus Christ in our lives. Similar to how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly, once Christ enters our lives we become a new creation! While our nature and our standing with God changes immediately, our actions and our lifestyle often takes longer to change. As we surrender, obey and yield to the Holy Spirit this transformation happens more and more through the process of sanctification and becoming more like Christ. What does it look like for you to stop trying to be a "better caterpillar" and live the butterfly life today? This Sunday we will continue in Ephesians 5:1-20 as the Apostle Paul shifts to the metaphor of light/darkness and we will learn what it means to "Live in the Light".
