“Offended by Jesus”

God is loving, kind and just.  He also guides us, corrects us and leads us. He is not under our control and does not do things in our way or in our time.  This can be annoying or even offensive.  As we read the Bible, we see that Jesus regularly offended people.  His message of faith in God and wholeness through grace (not works) was naturally disruptive and caused many to get upset.  The closer you get to really knowing Christ, the closer you may find that some of His teachings and the way that He calls us to live might rub you the wrong way.  This is a good thing!  It means that God is working within you.  Will you push through the offense and allow Christ to transform you?
