“Righteous in the Generation”
Sometimes the world just feels off. There seems to be shifting values, increased polarization and decreased compassion. At times, evil is celebrated in our culture and the definition of good is blurred. How do we live in times like this?
Scripture actually tells us of a similar time that the world seemed dark, but one person stood out. Genesis 6-9 tells us the story of Noah and how he was found righteous in the eyes of God. Noah wasn’t perfect but God used him to stand in his generation and invited him to be a part of a story of redemption.
What does it look like to live right when everything around you feels wrong? This Sunday, we’ll learn from God’s Word on how to be “Righteous in this Generation.” It’s not about being better than anyone else, but about walking with God, being obedient and discovering the kind of righteousness that comes through Christ. We celebrate God’s promise that He is always with us and that we are made righteous through faith in Him. Join us on the journey.
