“Beyond Fair”

We know clearly from the Bible that God is good, just and true. But sometimes it may not feel that way. When we see someone try to do all the right things and they still lose their job, get sick or suffer heartbreak, we can begin to wonder if anything is fair. When the unfair happens to us, we can become flooded with questions, disappointment or even anger at God.

One of the reasons that the “fairness of God” is so difficult to understand is that we often try to look at God through the lens of our own logic and economy. God is clear that He functions in His own way and He actually invites us into that way. He calls that way, “the kingdom of heaven”. Join us this Sunday as we look at Matthew 20:1-16 as we learn more about that way and discover how God’s justice and mercy is “Beyond Fair.”
