“Robbing the Grave”

Grief is a natural human emotion. The world is not as we desire it to be and we will all experience loss and disappointment in some way. Even Jesus grieved. Amazingly, Jesus joins with us in loss and pain and he also takes action to do something about it. He wept with Mary and Martha and went with them to their brother’s grave. And then he opened the grave and restored Lazarus to life! Whatever you are going through, Jesus joins you where you are and enters the depths of the emotion and situation with you. But he doesn’t leave you there. He takes you with him towards hope. Join us for online worship service as we look at John 11:1-44 and the story of Lazarus. We will discover that this is not just an isolated miracle, but it is Jesus picking a fight with death and standing with us against all that is broken and wrong in our world. Jesus robs the grave and gives meaning and hope to our grief and our lives!
