“Scouts that See”

When God lead the people of Israel to the promised land, Moses sent 12 men went in to scout it out. 10 of them came back reporting the problems: the land was occupied by “giants” that made them feel like “grasshoppers”. However, 2 of the scouts came back reporting the possibilities: the land is good and God will give it to us. When you look around at your world, do you see the problems or the possibilities? Do you shrink in the sight of obstacles or do you allow God’s presence to dwarf the opposition? The 2 scouts didn’t just have an optimistic outlook, they saw their situation through eyes of faith and we can too. Join us this Sunday as we learn from the “Scouts that See” in the book of Numbers chapters 13 and 14.
